Increasingly blogs of different political stripes, subject areas, geographical location, etc are coming together to create networks, specialized directories, and other listings. These networks help bloggers with similar interests find each other and help readers find blogs that match their interests. An example of this includes leftyblogs (blog listings for local-content left leaning bloggers).
I am not aware of any such directory for rural focused blogs. Filling this niche is the goal of the following.
